Waves of rain and thunderstorms are expected to continue over portions of the South this week, with forecasters warning of flash flooding alongside other threats that accompany severe weather, especially across Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi. Severe thunderstorms unleashed heavy rain, damaging winds and large hail (some as large as Ping-Pong balls) in Texas and Louisiana on Tuesday.
